Wet N Wild’s Silent Treatment eyeshadow trio is a set of three pink to plum shadows. WMW usually rocks with these trios, and Silent Treatment is no exception to that rule.
I’ve reviewed two others from this line – I’m Getting Sunburned and Knock On Wood, and had high praise for both. The three shadows in Silent Treatment are creamy and smooth with high color payoff. You can actually get too much on your brush. They also blend well and wear well – I had no creasing, fading or migrating. The shadows are a little on the soft side and can kick up powder if you jab a brush into them.
These colors are medium to deep and have enough pigmentation to work with deeper skin tones. As for whether it will flatter you or not, I’d say if you can wear a muted lavender, you can probably wear these.
I swatched ’em backwards (d’oh!). Eyelid would be taupe except it’s got too much lavender, and it has a shimmer finish. Crease is a deep brown with little flecks of silver shimmer – they do translate to the lid, but there’s not a lot of them so they’re not always very noticeable. Brow is a light pink with a somewhat frosty finish.
This is Brow all over the lid and brow, Eyelid on the outer half of my lid, and Crease used as a thick liner on top and a lighter liner on the bottom.
