L’Oreal has some new items coming out in drugstores for Spring 2013. At my local CVS, I found a huge display with a lot of different products (including some small displays from other brands which the store had put on there, ahem). This one includes a new line of True Match concealers in a crayon form – they look like jumbo lip pencils.
Also featured is their new line of Colour Riche eyeshadow palettes – I bought one and have played with it a little – and their new eyeshadow primer. They’ve got some new Trendsetter nail polishes and the Colour Riche Caresse Shine Balms – but there’s also a separate stand of those, so I’ll talk about that when I get to it. And finally, they’ve got a new Shocking Extensions mascara, which I also bought and haven’t tried yet.
They’ve released this new line of lipsticks in 12 shades. They’re supposed to be “shine stains”, so I’m assuming they’re supposed to be like the Revlon Just Bitten line. I hope they’re better than the Caresse Sticks, which had a very short wear time before drying out, but had a nice texture and good pigmentation.
And then there was a stand featuring Visible Lift foundation and a new line of Visible Lift blushes. I bought one of the blushes – they had a $2 off coupon on the stand, too. The blushes come in both matte and very finely shimmer finishes. I bought one of them and have only swatched it – it’s sort of a cream to powder finish.
