Someone recently asked me how Urban Decay’s Blackout eyeshadow compared to their black eyeliner, Perversion. Even though I often use eyeshadow for lining, I never really thought about comparison swatching them. But that’s what the above photo is – along with a few other Urban Decay liners.
L’Oreal Magic Nude Liquid Powder Foundation is a cream-to-powder foundation formula that’s supposed to go on creamy and transform into its own finishing powder, so all you have to do is shake and apply and you’re done. This has become my new go-to, especially on days when I don’t feel like going through lots of steps.
NYX’s Pinched powder blush is a peachy pink with a lot of fine gold shimmer, and yes, the shimmer is visible on cheeks. In fact, I usually don’t highlight when I wear this one because it kind of does both jobs for me.
Laura Geller makes some mighty fine blushes. I picked up this Baked Cheek Dreams Blush and Highlight Trio with a set last year, and I’ve been meaning to get around to the review for a long time!
