Urban Decay Shattered Face Case ($44 at UrbanDecay.com, Macy’s) is a collection of five eyeshadows, two blushers, one highlighter, an eyeliner and a lip pencil – everything you need except mascara, foundation and powder. I know, because I took it traveling recently and used it for everything.
Yesterday I reviewed Stila’s The Natural face palette. This is the Dare to Bare palette which is paired with it – they are both $20 Ulta exclusives in neutral shades. In a color comparison, Dare to Bare is a little more warm and deep than The Natural.
Stila’s The Natural face palette is similar to their Not So Nude palette from last year. It’s another $20 Ulta Exclusive, featuring neutral brownish shades and a bronzer instead of a lip and cheek cream product.
The Balm’s Balm Jovi palette ($39 at TheBalm.com or less at Amazon) is limited edition, but still available. This is a full face palette with eyeshadows, blush, a highlighter and lip products – everything you need except foundation, powder and mascara. You can even line your eyes with the shadows.
The Not So Nude face palette by Stila ($20, Ulta Exclusive) is described as a collection of “barely there” shades that make effortless looks. It contains 6 eyeshadows, an all-over shimmer powder and a cream blush/lip product. To me, “barely there” sounds like they’re going to be sheer, but that wasn’t the case at all. […]
