Shiseido’s Boudoir (PK 403) Eyeshadow Trio is, well, PINK. Just in case you thought (as I did), “This is the sort of color scheme I always think I can’t pull off but maybe I can”, I have to say this little palette is not just pink, but actually fully qualifies as PINK. Also, RED.
Laura Geller’s Beauty Baked Eyeshadow in Starburst has veins of chocolate, gold and fuschia all swirled together. It’s designed to be swept over the entire eye, or you can aim your brush at different veins of color to get slightly different tones from it for different parts of your eye. Sort of.
BareMinerals Eyecolor is a line of loose pigment eyeshadows that have been around since the brand began to take off. I’ve owned three of these shades for so long that they have the old packaging without a sifter. These eyeshadows are seriously awesome – the only negative is the messiness that always comes with loose pigments.
Laura Geller Baked Marble Eyeshadow/Eye Rimz Duo ($24 @ QVC) is two powders in one pan – an eyeshadow and a powder eyeliner. Both can be used wet or dry, and the instructions suggest you can “target” different areas of pigment to get lighter and darker shades to apply.
I’ve already reviewed another Nars Soft Touch pencil called Dark Rite, which creased within 15 minutes over a really good primer. Skorpios creases just as quickly, though perhaps not in as many places. Still, I can’t think of any reason to recommend buying these. You may want to see my Dark Rite review for more information.
