The Balm’s Balm Jovi palette ($39 at TheBalm.com or less at Amazon) is limited edition, but still available. This is a full face palette with eyeshadows, blush, a highlighter and lip products – everything you need except foundation, powder and mascara. You can even line your eyes with the shadows.
TheBalm’s Mai Bills Be Paid lipstick (theBalm, $17) is described on their website as a “velvety nude”. It’s a pale near-matte shade that has enough pink in it to keep it from looking dead the way some “nude” shades can look on many of us.
TheBalm’s Foxy Pout lipstick (theBalm, $17) is described as a “bold metallic bronze”. It’s a warm brown with lots of gold shimmer, which can be worn as a neutral with pretty much anything.
TheBalm’s Nude ‘Tude palette (available at theBalm or Amazon) is a neutral palette of twelve eyeshadows. TheBalm has one of the best eyeshadow formulas I’ve come across, and that quality holds true in this palette. The colors are gorgeous, and a lot of thought has clearly been put into making this different from the Naked palettes.
Mary-Lou Manizer from TheBalm ($24 at Sephora) is a shimmery champagne highlighter powder. When I first looked at it in the store, I dismissed it as more shimmery than I wanted. But it applies much more subtly than I expected.
