Tarte’s Call of the Wild eyeshadow palette is a neutral 8-pan addition to their Amazonian Clay line. The colors range from browns to grays and a navy, and Tarte claims the Amazonian clay is nourishing, will reduce the oil on your eyelids and wear longer and stay truer.
Continuing from Part 1 of the Tarte Carried Away collection review, this part reviews the eyeshadow palette. It’s 24 full size Amazonian clay eyeshadows, and going by the fact that Tarte usually charges over $40 for a palette of 10 eyeshadows, that gives you an idea just what a value this collection is. And in this case, the quality of the eyeshadows is up to Tarte’s usual standards. I’ll get into specifics on each shade.
The Tarte Carried Away collection features 24 full-size eyeshadows, 8 maracuja lip glosses, one small Amazonian Clay blush, a small Amazonian Clay finishing powder and a small Lights, Camera, Lashes Mascara, all in a well-made travel kit with a mirror and a blush brush. Because this collection is huge and I took a lot of photos, I’m breaking it down into three posts. This one will cover the kit as a whole, and the blush, powder and mascara. The next will cover the eyeshadows, and the third will be the lip glosses.
