NYX’s Pinched powder blush (.14 oz for around $5 at drugstores, Ulta and Target) is a peachy pink with a lot of fine gold shimmer, and yes, the shimmer is visible on cheeks. In fact, I usually don’t highlight when I wear this one because it kind of does both jobs for me.
NYX Round Lipstick in Fig is a slightly cool medium pink with blue undertones. It’s close enough to neutral that it can still work for a lot of warmer skin tones.
NYX’s Round Lipstick in Femme (around $4 at Ulta) is a bright coral with a semi-matte finish. I really can’t make the color description more complicated than that – it’s equal parts orange and pink, leaning toward red, which is exactly what coral should be.
Like Champagne & Caviar (or Caviar & Bubbles, whatever it’s calling itself these days), the NYX Bohemian Rhapsody palette from the Runway Collection is another big winner that retails for $8.50 to $11.95. But while the first palette is understated and low on shimmer, Bohemian Rhapsody sparkles like jewels.
The NYX Champagne & Caviar palette from the Runway Collection is a beautiful collection of neutral browns of surprisingly high quality, retailing for $8.50 to $11.95. The keyword for this palette is “subtle”, but you can also get some dramatic looks from it, or go from day to evening.
