MAC’s Ruby Woo Retro Matte lipstick is a long-time cult favorite matte red. It’s a bright coral red, but the undertones aren’t overpowering – sometimes it even looks a little cool on me in certain lighting. I’m late to the game on this one!
MAC Sumptuous Olive Eyeshadow ($15 at Nordstrom) is a golden khaki shimmering eyeshadow with their veluxe pearl finish. Pictured here is the refill, which is $12 at a MAC store or from MAC’s website.
MAC’s Viva Glam VI Lipstick is a warm plummy bronze with pearlescent shimmer. It’s a lustre finish, so it’s fairly sheer but much less so than Sophisto, which I reviewed recently.
MAC Gingerly Sheertone Powder Blush is a warm light brownish peach matte. On the skin, it tends to pick up a stronger orange or red tone. This has to be pretty common, because the MUA at the store mentioned it to me, and my results confirmed it.
MAC Sophisto Lustre Lipstick ($15, Nordstrom) is a medium warm pink semi-sheer lipstick with gold shimmer. The Lustre lipsticks are intended to be sheer, with some shades being more sheer than others. Of the ones I own, Sophisto is one of the more sheer.
