Laura Geller makes some mighty fine blushes. I picked up this Baked Cheek Dreams Blush and Highlight Trio with a set last year, and I’ve been meaning to get around to the review for a long time!
Laura Geller’s I-Care waterproof eyeliner in Ocean is a blue eyeliner with green undertones and a matte finish. It’s in a twist-up barrel with a smudging tip on the backend and a sharpener behind the smudging tip in case you want to get it to a really fine point.
Laura Geller’s Beauty Baked Eyeshadow in Starburst has veins of chocolate, gold and fuschia all swirled together. It’s designed to be swept over the entire eye, or you can aim your brush at different veins of color to get slightly different tones from it for different parts of your eye. Sort of.
Laura Geller’s Light Beams lip gloss ($17 at Macy’s, Nordstrom’s or Ulta) is supposed to be comfortable and lightweight while delivering high shine and keeping lips in optimal condition. Fairy Beams is a light rosy pink with a lot of pale shimmer. It’s a translucent formula, not meant to pack a lot of color.
I recently got a Laura Geller set that included a duo compact of her Tropic Hues Baked Blush N’ Brighten ($27.50 for the full size at QVC) and Tahitian Glow Baked Body Frosting ($45 for the full size at Nordstrom). Since they work well together, I decided it made sense to review them together.
